How Can You Keep Your Makeup Smudge Free?

Date:

Keeping your makeup from smudging is hard, especially when it’s hot outside. But there are things you can do to keep smudges and smears from happening. It’s great to be able to put on your makeup and then go about your day. You don’t need to worry about your makeup staying on when life is already stressful.

1. Pick a Primer You Like

A primer is meant to help your makeup go on better and remain in place. But not all primers are the same. You might have to try a few different primers before you find one you really like. You may find primers from many different brands and at many different prices. You might want to start with a brand that has worked for you in the past. Another excellent thing about primer is that you don’t need a lot of it.

2. Use Blotting Cloths

Have you ever been in this situation? When you glance in the mirror, you see that your face is oily and your makeup is smudged all over. You might want to grab your powder right away, but there is a better way to fix the problem because powder can make your face look dry and cakey. In this case, blotting cloths are the finest choice. They get rid of the oil, sweat, and dirt without making the smearing problem worse like powder does.

3. Choose Waterproof Mascara and Eyeliner

For me, eye makeup is the most likely to smear. It’s very annoying! Who wants to spend all day looking for mirrors to make sure their eye makeup isn’t smudging their face? Not this girl! Using waterproof mascara and eyeliner is the finest thing I’ve found to do.

4. When you cry, dab instead of rubbing.

I cry a lot. I cry at weddings, sappy films, emotional times, and when my hormones are acting up. This little trick is for people like me who cry a lot. Instead of rubbing your eyes when you cry, dab them. Rubbing makes your makeup look much worse.

“Making yourself more beautiful doesn’t always imply aiming for the shiny look. More women are now interested in a finish that doesn’t shine. You may also get a perfect, soft glow with the correct tools and methods. These amazing matte makeup tutorials will teach you how to master this trend. “Improve your natural skin tone without the extra flash.”

5. Blot Your Lipstick

Does your lipstick often get smudged? You might have noticed that it bleeds out of your natural lip line as the day goes on. You can stop that from happening by blotting it. You don’t have to wipe it all off; just a small blot can eliminate smearing. Lip liner is also good for keeping it in place.

6. Change Your Foundation

You might be wearing the wrong kind of foundation if you feel like your whole face gets smudged and smeared as the day goes on, not just a few problem areas. Try using a matte formula instead. You could also pick a foundation that says things like “shine control” on it. You should definitely steer clear from foundations that add extra moisture. If your makeup is always smearing, you need a foundation that doesn’t have as much moisture.

7. Put in a product that makes things less shiny.

You might need to go a step further if changing your foundation doesn’t give you the outcomes you want. You might need to use a cream that is made just for making your skin look less shiny. I was happy with the results when I recently tested Covergirl TruMagic Skin Perfector Mattifier. It not only keeps things from smearing, but it also makes pores look smaller. You can use it before or after.
