Jimmy Kimmel interviews Trump’s badly bruised body part in unhinged late-night segment

Date:

This week, someone stepped up to help Jimmy Kimmel, who never stops criticizing Donald Trump in the most creative manner.

Even though Federal Communications Commission chairman Brendan Carr threatened to “make it difficult for shows like ours and The View to interview politicians they don’t align with,” Jimmy Kimmel Live host Jimmy Kimmel recently explained that he had invited Trump to appear on the show to mark the anniversary of his return to the White House. Sort of.

Kimmel told his audience, “Unfortunately, his head was unavailable to talk,” but that another portion of the president’s body had consented to a sit-down instead. Trump’s severely injured right hand was shown to the crowd a few moments later “in the flesh — the rotting, diseased flesh.”

Since at least August 2024, the mystery surrounding the marks on Trump’s right hand has garnered media attention. “It’s from shaking hands with thousands of people,” the president said in response to a question about it in Time magazine’s December “Person of the Year” story.

According to NBC News, Trump was seen sporting the bruises on multiple other times, including in November and February 2025, when French President Emmanuel Macron was in the White House. Both his detractors and supporters questioned whether the obvious bruising, discolouration, and sporadic makeup or bandaging were caused by health problems, which attracted a lot of media attention.

Despite the White House’s numerous explanations, which included blaming the marks on chronic venous insufficiency, a circulatory disorder, and aspirin use, which thins the blood, the rumors reappeared after Trump’s left hand developed identical bruises.

Kimmel questioned “Trump’s hand” about the “huge black and blue on it,” and the appendage pretended to be shocked.

He said, “Oh, you can see that?” “Well, I can definitely see it. Wait a moment. Allow me to apply a light layer of foundation.

The delicate base? Some Cheez Whiz were applied really badly.

“So you just put Cheez Whiz on your hand, huh?” “Yeah,” the hand said when Kimmel asked. Then they dust me with powder. “The sexiest hand alive is bing bong bing.”

When Kimmel questioned whether Trump could “hear” his chat with the hand, the exchange became heated.

“No, no, no,” it answered. “He’s in an extremely important meeting that requires deep concentration and laser focus.”

“So he’s sleeping is what you’re saying?” As the program cut to video of the president conking out in a meeting with his cabinet, Kimmel deduced that the hand did indeed indicate that.

However, the hand declined Kimmel’s offer to speak with the president at a later time, stating, “Whenever he’s taking a televised siesta, we usually have me sign some executive orders.” After that, the hand disclosed that Trump had recently enacted “a ban on hands gender for everyone.”

“Your kid goes to school a righty, they come home a lefty,” the hand bemoaned. “Abhorrent. I can’t make this stuff up.”

The back-and-forth between Kimmel and the hand made it evident that the satirical segment was not just aimed at making fun of Trump but also at the host’s criticism of the administration’s overall secrecy and frequently cryptic decision-making.

The segment was consistent with last Thursday’s Live episode, where Kimmel pulled out his collection of awards, which included a Clio Award, a Webby Award, a Writers Guild of America Award, and a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show Host for Ben Stein’s Money in 1999, in an attempt to “bribe” Trump to remove ICE officers from Minneapolis.

Kimmel wrapped the segment after the hand offered to introduce him to some of Trump’s other body parts: his cankles. After saying, “That’s all right, thank you,” the host ended the interview.
