One year after Kate Middleton proclaimed that she is cancer-free, some people are anxious about her health again. After the Princess of Wales arrived at a royal event last week wearing slim pants that highlighted her current form, many of her detractors are concerned that she isn’t doing well — and that her dedicated following isn’t concerned enough about her.
Kate attended a charity group called Mind Over Mountains for a nature walk last week, demonstrating how healing the great outdoors can be. Given how frequently Kate has discussed how spending time in nature has helped her heal while undergoing cancer treatment, it’s no wonder that she would be committed to a cause like this one — especially because mental health issues have long been important to her heart.
People are concerned that her health may be deteriorating.
After witnessing the footage and images of Kate’s solo outing, some admirers expressed their concern for her health in a Reddit post about the event. She chose to wear a pair of thin fitting skinny jeans for the event, which some people believe highlight how little her legs have gotten.
“Her knees are the widest section of her legs. This is horrible. “She appears to be dying,” one person wrote.
Another commenter stated, “She has always been incredibly skinny, but she is simply too thin today. I am amazed she wears outfits that highlight how tiny she has gotten.”
Others emphasized that discussing someone’s body is never beneficial.
Regardless of the source of Kate’s decreased size, one reader pointed out that speculating about her body is unlikely to benefit her.
“If she does have an eating disorder, I doubt that all of the speculation will help. “And if she has other mental or physical health issues, it won’t help,” they added. “Expressing worry online in cases like this is merely performative and ultimately detrimental. If she is going to obtain help, whether for an eating disorder or for other health issues, it will have to come from her close friends and family.
Hopefully, Kate is doing OK. After the ups and downs of her health, there’s no doubt she and her family have been through a lot in the last several years.
