While Herras did not reveal what he was going through, the video implied that the actor was coping with personal issues, which raised concerns among his show industry friends.
In the comments area, Rocco Nacino left an encouraging note, stating, “One day at a time, brother.” You are the first product of StarStruck; don’t forget to dream, believe, and survive. Please call me if you need someone to chat to.

Several of Herras’ former StarStruck castmates voiced concern, including Sheena Halili, Katrina Halili, Nadine Samonte, and Kris Bernal, who said they were praying for him.
Carla Abellana also wrote an encouraging message: “Kapit lang.” “It’s in Hindi.” (Hold on. (You’re not alone.)
Rochelle Pangilinan, Rodjun Cruz, Dianne Medina, Diana Zubiri, Mark Bautista, and Enzo Pineda also expressed sympathy for Herras.

Herras, who rose to prominence after winning the inaugural season of the reality competition show “StarStruck,” has been candid in recent years about battling personal and professional struggles.
In 2024, the actor-dancer stated that an old “debt” of P30,000 from his previous manager Lolit Solis had paved the door for the two of them to part ways after the latter publicized it in order to seek media attention as he was struggling with his profession at the time.
Herras made news last year when he performed at a gay bar, prompting speculation that he did so owing to a lack of on-screen work.
At the time, the former “StarStruck” star noted that he is not picky about the employment he accepts as long as it allows him to support for his family.
Herras was accused of making grave threats by businessman-singer Jojo Mendrez, who filed a blotter report with the Kamuning Police Station 10 in April 2025. The couple had been the subject of dating rumors. Herras eventually refuted the charges.
