These Drugstore Makeup Products Make Contouring a Breeze

Date:

It’s hard to contour, especially if you’re new to it. Because of this, it can be hard to justify spending a lot of money on different powders and creams only to learn how to contour. Try these drugstore contouring products if you want to try contouring but don’t want to borrow money to do so. They just cost a few dollars each, and they’re great for getting acclimated to contouring!

Bronzing Powder from NYC Sun 2 Sun

Having one dark bronze and one that may be called a highlight is one of the most crucial components of contouring. The two parts of this bronzing powder give you just that. You can always find amazing bronzers in New York City, so if you try this drugstore bronzer duo, you can be sure you’re in good hands.

The NYX Wonder Stick

This is the perfect small tool for you if you like cream contour. It has two ends, each with a different color, which makes it quite useful. It’s fantastic for travel or when you don’t have time to apply your makeup and have to go right away. This one is my favorite because it comes with easy-to-follow directions for those who are just starting to contour.

Sonia Kashuk Chic Defining Contour Stick

This Sonia Kashuk contour stick is extremely similar, however it’s only one-sided instead of being a double-ended stick that does everything. You will need other powders or creams for this, but it’s so little and easy to carry that you won’t mind. This tiny stick is great to have on hand for touch-ups, even in the smallest purse.

    Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation

When I contour my face, this is the only foundation I use. It stays put so beautifully, it matches my skin tone perfectly (and they have a lot of colors, so you can find yours too). It also evens out the redness in my skin tone, and the matte finish makes contouring easy. This is the foundation you need for the ideal contour.

    1. “Making yourself more beautiful doesn’t always imply aiming for the shiny look. More women are now interested in a finish that doesn’t shine. You may also get a perfect, soft glow with the correct tools and methods. These amazing matte makeup tutorials will show you how to conquer this trend. “Make your skin look better without the extra flash.”

    Revlon Palette for Highlighting

    1. You don’t see a lot of drugstore palettes that have both highlighting and contouring products, but this Revlon palette has done the impossible and come out on top. I like that it’s still small even though it’s a palette. I also like that it comes in three distinct colors. Peach Glow is my fave since it lets you contour in the most ways.

NYX Pro Palette for Highlighting and Contouring

    1. You need to be better at contouring to use this palette, but don’t be deceived. It doesn’t cost as much as a palette from Sephora just because it’s a touch more difficult than drugstore cosmetics. It’s still only a few dollars more than Sephora, and for the price, it’s the best contour palette for you.

    Shimmer Strips from Physician’s Formula

You wouldn’t believe how many accolades this Physician’s Formula bronzer has earned. It has about every color you may need for a decent contour, plus it adds a little shine for a healthy glow. This Physician’s Formula powder is a good choice if you want a lot of choices at a low price.
