Men’s Paris Fashion Week is already underway, and streamer Kai Cenat is making sure to carry his most valued accessory from show to show. What accessories are we discussing? His journal, of course. Cenat has temporarily traded Georgia for the French city in honour of PFW, but he brings a piece of home with him wherever he goes in Paris. On January 20, 2026, the celebrity debuted his Paris menswear season at Guillermo Andrade’s 424 fall-winter 2026-2027 presentation. Cenat dressed in all black for the occasion, including an adorned baseball cap, a Nike hoodie, matching trousers, Heliot Emil hiking boots, and his journal.

Later that day, Cenat was pictured at Pharrell’s menswear fall-winter 2026 show for Louis Vuitton in another all-black ensemble. Though the sweatshirt stayed same, Cenat changed into a different cap (this one with the name Vuitton stitched across the panel), trousers with frayed hems, and Timberland boots. The only item that remained undisturbed was his journal.
Kai Cenat carrying his journal around Paris should come as no surprise to those who’ve been following him for a while—and it has nothing to do with performativity. Since December 2025, the streamer has documented his reading and writing journey, among other interests, on his new side channel, Kai’s Mind.
Cenat has stated in his videos that he is determined to become a more expressive speaker, and in order to accomplish this aim, he has embarked on a quest to read aloud for an extended amount of time—anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour—each day. “Honestly, the reason why I started reading was because I didn’t like the way I spoke,” Cenat said in the video. “To be honest, I wanted to improve my communication skills. I found that when I got into disputes and needed to make a point, people didn’t take me seriously. In the same video, he revealed that he had been writing in addition to reading, and that one of his main motives for embarking on this adventure was his interest in his upcoming fashion business, Vivet. “As I am making my venture into clothing, I feel like when people have to ask me questions about the garments that I end up releasing, I should be able to articulate myself perfectly and explain what is going on and my thought process behind each garment and inspiration,” the designer said.
Cenat’s notebook, which debuted at PFW, has also been shown on his side channel and contains many of his ideas for Vivet, including the brand logo. “This will be the bread and butter of the brand,” Cenat said in a video. So it makes fitting that the journal would accompany Cenat to France to write down ideas during fashion week. If Cenat’s style demonstrates anything, it’s that the hottest accessory of 2026 doesn’t have to be a new purse or belt, but rather the outward manifestation of our New Year’s resolutions or favourite hobbies—whether it’s a journal, a book, a sketchbook, knitting needles, or anything in between. If you love it, you should show it!
