After years of rumors, Summer House stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula have formally called it quits on their marriage.
According to a joint Instagram statement released by Batula and Cooke on Monday, January 19, “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple.” “We humbly share this and respectfully request your grace and support as we concentrate on our own personal development and recovery.”
While living a large portion of their relationship in public, the couple recognized the difficulty of requesting seclusion. “Asking for privacy at this time seems ironic. since we’ve always made an effort to be forthright and honest about our relationship, but your generosity and regard will be greatly appreciated as we attempt to move on to the next phase of our lives,” they added.
The breakup occurs before of Summer House season 10’s much awaited return next month, which is expected to reveal fissures in Cooke and Batula’s marriage. The couple seems to be at odds about a number of things in the teaser for the next season, including Cooke’s DJ career and the strain it has put on their relationship.
Cooke, 43, and Batula, 34, were rumored to be living apart in November 2025, which sparked rumors of conflict between them. At the time, though, a source close to the reality stars put an end to the speculation.
The insider told Us Weekly that Cooke and Batula were “both committed to making the relationship work” despite their difficulties, saying, “They are going through a challenging time.”
Costar Lindsay Hubbard also made an effort to quell split rumors a few days later. Hubbard, 39, told Us at BravoCon in November that “it’s like any relationship, there’s ups and downs.” She reminded viewers that they had been following Cooke and Batula’s “journey for 10 years,” through all of their highs and lows.
She remarked at the time, “I know that they’re very much together and in love with each other.” “Come on, like.”
Hubbard went on to say that the couple’s difficult time was “no big deal.” Although they did not discuss their marital issues in public, Cooke and Batula were seen sitting next to one another during a Summer House panel at the Bravo fan conference in Las Vegas that same weekend.
Since Summer House debuted in 2017, fans have gotten a close-up view of Cooke and Batula’s romance. Three years later, in September 2021, the couple was married after becoming engaged in September 2018.
Viewers saw the pair deal with a number of difficulties over the years, such as Cooke’s admission of infidelity in 2018 and continuous arguments over where to reside and whether to start a family.
