When KATSEYE walked the red carpet at the 2026 Grammys, we were immediately enamored with their coordinating couture Ludovic de Saint Sernin outfits and stunning cosmetic details—including equally synchronized but distinct manicures!
For their big night, the trio resorted to manicurist Naomi Yasuda, who created a bespoke design in white and silver for each member. “Having worked with the girls since the beginning, seeing them perform at their first Grammys was a milestone moment,” Yasuda said in a press release. “I wanted to create designs that felt both personal and purposeful.” For the red carpet, the group chose “sophisticated lace and crystal chrome accents.” During their performance of “Gnarly,” Yasuda introduced “bold and edgy” elements. “Each design was adapted to their particular personalities while maintaining the group’s aesthetic consistency. I imagined these nails would increase their confidence and make them feel unstoppable in important occasions.”

Sophia went full ice queen with frosty, pale silver nails topped in silver chrome. Yasuda used OPI’s GelColor in Hands in the Clouds, a shimmery sheer white, as the foundation, while the French tip was produced with Super Gloss No Wipe Top Coat and GelColor in Black Onyx, topped with silver chrome. Teeny crystals at the base of the nail provided a bit of glitz. (Yasuda utilized professional GelColor products, although these shades are also available as normal polish.)

Manon’s French manicure was not your typical pink and white design! Yasuda attached silver chains to the tips for an extra nice feel. Yasuda used two coats of GelColor in Tiramisu for Two, a gorgeous cream hue, as the foundation, and then blended Super Gloss No Wipe Top Coat with GelColor in Black Onyx for the French tip, finishing with silver chrome powder and adding the small chains to each tip.

Daniela’s nails were a delicate, lace dream. Yasuda used OPI GelColor in Alpine Snow and white lace stamping gel to create the textured base, which was then completed with top coat and silver chrome powder. You don’t have to be a pro to achieve a lace impression; you can buy lace stamping pads for your own DIY manicures, although you might want to practice a little to have a steady touch.

Yasuda utilized a combination of OPI’s GelColor in Alpine Snow and acetone to create Lara’s long, stiletto-shaped nails with 3D silver elements, airbrushing the mixture into the center of the nail for an aura pattern. She used OPI Super Gloss No Wipe Top Coat and GelColor in Black Onyx to create the silver 3D texture, which was then finished with silver chrome powder. Yasuda repeated the technique numerous times before adding studs as the final touch.

Megan’s nails were sleek and beautiful, beginning with a silver chrome base and ending with a transparent tip with extensive gemstone detailing. Yasuda applied GelColor in Black Onyx as the base, followed by chrome powder, then airbrushed GelColor in Alpine Snow and acetone on the edges, finishing with a huge crystal in the center of each nail.
Yoonchae also donned a lace design. Her long, almond-shaped nails were stamped with a white swirly pattern and embellished with rhinestones. Yasuda used GelColor in Put It in Neutral as the basis and GelColor in Alpine Snow to create the lace design, which was finished with crystals.
