The Most Stylish K-drama Characters, From Can This Love Be Translated?, Start-Up, and More

Date:

Fashion sense is impeccable for many of these beloved K-drama characters, such as Kim Seon Ho from Start-Up or, more recently, Go Youn Jung from Can This Love Be Translated? From expertly tailored suits to the tweed coordinating sets of our Pinterest dreams, their sense of style is unmatched.

The seven most fashionable K-drama characters whose closets I would instantly steal for my own wardrobe are listed below. These characters serve as more than just fashion icons; what’s most satisfying is how their clothing enhances their personalities and brings out the best in them. Hint: K-drama celebrities like Song Joong Ki, Kim Ji Won, and Kim Seon Ho are on this list.

One of Kim Seon Ho’s favorite characters, Han Jipyeong, gave viewers the worst kind of second lead syndrome in Start-Up. In addition to his tsundere demeanor, he was even more attractive because of his immaculate formal wear. His all-white, semi-formal attire is one of my favorites.

Hong Haein from Queen of Tears is a K-drama character who dominated the office fashion scene. With Kim Ji Won’s commanding screen presence, Haein’s bold yet classy style exuded serious girlboss energy. It’s also how she dresses outside of work: formal yet comfortable.

You can’t discuss K-drama fashion without mentioning Vincenzo Cassano. The mafia consigliere, played by the devilishly handsome Song Joong Ki in Vincenzo, fought bad guys all the time, but he never looked messy. His Italian suits were custom-made for the actor and felt like characters themselves.

It’s impossible not to be enchanted by Go Moonyoung, who is brilliantly played by Seo Ye Ji in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. Moonyoung’s personality may be chaotic, but her fashion sense is always on point, making her a fierce trendsetter. Her now-iconic Magda Butrym floral mini dress is just one example of how the sleeves highlight her shoulders, transforming Moonyoung into a force to be reckoned with.

Despite how beautiful the locations in Can This Love Be Translated? are, I couldn’t take my gaze away from Cha Muhee’s sophisticated fashion. Go Youn Jung, dripping in Chanel from head to toe, stole the show not only with her incredible acting but also with her impeccable style. Those stunning tweed jacket-and-mini-skirt combinations have a special place on my personal fashion mood board.

Lee Young Joon from What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim is another fan-favorite K-drama character who teaches how to master the corporate chic game. Park Seo Joon’s envy-inducing suits appear tailor-made for him, exaggerating the eccentricities of his narcissistic personality. He looks good, and he knows it!

Goblin exudes an overwhelming aura that is unparalleled, and a large part of that, in addition to Gong Yoo’s bewitching acting charisma, is due to his flawless fashion sense. Gong Yoo’s Goblin character, with his trademark overcoats, is enthralling to watch on screen, but it’s his soft-toned winter wear that one wishes their partner would wear as well.
