The Chic Leggings Trend Replacing Basics in 2025

I rarely wear pants, which is perhaps why I’m not the greatest lover of leggings. I feel weird wearing workout leggings, even when I go to the gym. I’ve just never been comfortable wearing athleisure clothing. That’s why I’m so perplexed by my newfound desire to purchase a pair of stirrup leggings. I can’t stop putting them in my cart, which really caught me off guard.

I was looking at some pictures from earlier this year’s Tibi S/S 25 presentation when it all began. I couldn’t stop thinking about two ensembles that used stirrup leggings. The models’ structured coats and strappy shoes enhanced the usually comfortable classic. The design of these leggings enabled a sliver of skin to show through in the most surprising and sexiest way possible. Sometimes, depending on the shoes you wear them with, leggings can cut awkwardly around the ankle. There was nothing casual about the leggings. Rather, they were incredibly stylish and shockingly seductive.

After talking about stirrup leggings with some friends who are fashion editors, I’ve discovered that everyone is currently purchasing a pair. It makes reasonable that they are thinking about them, not just myself. They are, without a doubt, the simplest way to wear something comfortable and uncomplicated that was on the runway. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a pair of leggings that I could imagine myself wearing outside after working out. I promise that these will completely change your mind if you were also dubious about leggings.
