If you’re looking for new lipstick hues, why not look at the colors that were popular on the spring runways? It’s not just the clothing that are important during fashion week; the makeup is also. I adore watching the runways to get ideas for the year. These were some of the colors of lipstick that were on the runways this spring!
I. Bright Orange
Orange was one of the most popular lipstick hues on the spring runways. John Galliano (above), DKNY, and Rag & Bone all showed off orange lips. People are asking, “Is orange the new red?” now that orange lipstick is out. I don’t think orange lipstick will ever entirely take the place of red lipstick, but I love wearing orange lipstick this spring, summer, and fall! 2. Soft Purple
I love purple lipstick, therefore I was quite happy to see the color on the runway. For his Ready-to-Wear collection, Prabal Gurung (above) had models wear purple lipstick. 3. Basic Naked
Another significant trend on the runways this season was the all-natural look. Giambattista Valli (above) and Dolce & Gabbana both chose a natural, nude lip. 4. Classic Red

6. Berry Dark
Dark BerryMarchesa (seen above) defied the norms by utilizing dark berry lipstick with their spring fashion range. I have to say that I really like it. 7. Shimmering Silver
I didn’t expect to see silver lips on the runway this year, but that’s what I love about Betsey Johnson! She constantly keeps me on my toes.
