ith cosmetics being so expensive, I’m always on the lookout for ways to get free makeup. It can take a while, but it’s worth it. Think about how much money you could save on your favorite beauty products each year. You can receive free makeup without doing anything nefarious, like signing up for those sketchy freebie sites. Since it’s all free, what do you have to lose?
Programs for loyalty
Joining loyalty programs is one of my favorite methods to receive free makeup. You can earn points for every product you buy from various brands. After you achieve a specified point value, you can exchange your points for a freebie. Some of these also give you extra points for your birthday and other holidays. Look at the websites of your favorite brands to see whether they have a loyalty program.
Gifts for free
I can’t read a magazine or watch TV without seeing a makeup brand that gives away free makeup kits when you buy a makeup bag or spend a certain amount on cosmetics or perfume. If you were going to buy these goods anyhow, why not take advantage of the free makeup offer? Most of the time, the cosmetics is worth more than what you have to buy. The last ad I saw was for nearly $150 worth of makeup after buying $30.
Check out the products
This strategy could take some time and effort, but it works for people who are willing to put in the work. If you like makeup, you could start a website where you review your favorite items and offer how-to guides. Once you have a good number of followers, email your favorite brands and ask if they would be willing to provide you things in exchange for an honest review. There are a lot of websites that help bloggers get in touch with well-known firms.
If you want to become an influencer in the beauty business, you can get free makeup and share your love of beauty with others. Develop a voice that is different from everyone else’s and gets your audience’s attention. Be honest in your reviews and stick to the same material. Integrity is the most important thing to do to keep your followers’ trust. Once you have a strong presence, you could also send companies a media package that shows how far and how much impact you have. This would make the offer good for both sides. It takes time to create a passionate fan base, so be patient. The benefits might be big.
Parties for makeup
You don’t have to buy your makeup from a drugstore or department store all the time. Companies like Avon and Mary Kay let its sellers throw makeup parties. Guests can win full-sized merchandise at the party. You usually also get a new look. Most people also get a complimentary set of samples. The goal is to convince you to buy anything, but you’ll end up receiving something for free.
“Making yourself more beautiful doesn’t always imply aiming for the shiny look. More women now recognize how appealing a shine-free finish can be. You may also get a perfect, soft glow with the correct tools and methods. These amazing matte makeup tutorials will show you how to conquer this trend. “Make your skin look better without the extra flash.”
Contests in magazines
Beauty magazines like Allure and Glamour often hold contests where you may win free makeup. I haven’t seen an issue yet that doesn’t feature a cosmetic contest of some kind. It only takes a minute to sign up. Someone has to win, after all. If you want more opportunities to win, you can generally discover more contests on the magazine’s website. I normally enter both, and it only takes me about five minutes a week.
Media for social
If you don’t already follow your favorite brands on social media, do it now. You won’t believe how many free offers, BOGOs, and giveaways you can take advantage of. By following brands on Twitter and Facebook, I’ve found links to full rebates, online-only deals, and amazing contests. I really think you should give it a try. You won’t always get something for free, but you will get huge discounts.
Request Samples
You can ask for free samples from a lot of makeup sites, as well as department and discount stores. You just have to enter your address and wait for the sample to arrive, whether it’s their newest products or a certain type of product. Some sites even give away full-size samples for free on a first-come, first-served basis. You should also ask your local beauty counter if they have free samples.
