It was hard to locate non-toxic mascaras that worked when I switched to a green beauty routine. I tried a lot of them, but none of them worked for me. I have short, blonde lashes, so I need mascara. That’s why I set out to locate the best non-toxic mascaras. I think I’m off to a wonderful start! You might need to be a little more patient and put on a few extra coats because non-toxic mascaras are made in a different way than you’re used to. In my opinion, it’s worth it! This mascara is the best! It makes my tiny lashes longer than I ever thought possible, and it gives them a rich, deep color with wonderful separation. This mascara is really moist because it has purified water in it, but it dries quickly, so there are no smudges. Ecco Bella Flower Mascara is at the top of my list of non-toxic mascaras because it has done so well.
II. Jane Iredale Longest Lash Mascara
This beautiful golden squeeze tube holds a large, tapered brush that captures each lash and adds volume, length, and separation. I enjoy that the consistency is rather dry because the faster mascara dries, the less likely it is to smudge. This mascara is the best way to make my barely-there lashes look longer and fuller without clumping. The price is a touch costly, but if you want non-toxic mascaras that work, it’s worth it.
III. LUVU Beauty’s Truly Natural Mascara
This is another one of my favorite safe mascaras. It has a lot of color and adds length and volume without any clumps. This one doesn’t include any clay, so it’s really light, but it works great!
IV. Raw Mascara from EarthLab Cosmetics
If your lashes are already pretty good, this is a terrific mascara for you. It doesn’t do as much for mine because they need a lot of help, but I have friends who use it and love it. It gives lashes a great, natural volume and makes them darker really effectively. This is an excellent non-toxic mascara to try if you want a bit additional oomph.

V. Lavera Double Black Mascara
This mascara has two ends, so you can select between length and volume. To get the best of both worlds, you can put on a coat of both. Each end performs exactly what it says it will do: it adds either luxurious length or lively volume, depending on what you want for your lashes.

If this mascara is even half as wonderful as the ZuZu Luxe liquid liner, it’s worth the praise!
