Sometimes, when I use certain blotting papers, they take off some of my makeup. To level it out, I put on some powder after I blot, but that’s not necessary.

Using waterproof eye makeup is another way to make your makeup remain longer. I know that waterproof eye makeup can be hard to wipe off, but it lasts! If you don’t like that idea, a long-wearing solution is a perfect option to waterproof. Also, WebMD says that one of the best ways to make your eye makeup stay is to use waterproof eyeliner and cream eye shadow on top of an eye primer.

Getting rid of extra oil in your life is another way to help your makeup last longer. Treat your skin to an oil-absorbing mask and let it rest from all the primping. A deep-cleansing, clarifying, or clay mask will help pull out and soak up oils and dirt, as well as tighten pores. For optimal results, use a mask once or twice a week.
