Martha Stewart, 84, Has the Perfect Anti-Aging Skin Care and Makeup Routine—Shop Her 5 Go-To Products From $10

Date:

I’m not interested in hearing Gen Z’s skin care tips, no matter how much they know about fashion trends or makeup. This is especially true when it comes to anti-aging products—how could someone born after 2000 ever understand the passage of time? Instead, I look to superstars who age gracefully and proudly, as I intend to in a few decades. At the top of this ambitious list is 84-year-old Martha Stewart, and happily, I know a lot about the anti-aging skin care treatments she uses.

Stewart’s routine includes a high-low mix of goods that, despite their various pricing, all work well. Mario Badescu’s Super Rich Olive Body Lotion is at the low end of the pricing range, while Sisley Paris’s Black Rose Precious Face Oil is at the high end, with the A30 Elemental Serum from her own brand, Elm Biosciences, falling somewhere in between.

Do you really expect much from a $10 body lotion? Stewart’s gams and thousands of five-star ratings show that the answer is yes. Olive oil, the titular hero ingredient, increases collagen, improves skin barrier function, and is profoundly moisturizing. One consumer reported that it made their “alligator skin very soft.” One user stated, “It keeps my extremely dry skin hydrated…it works better than anything else I have tried in the last 50 years.”

Elm Biosciences

Martha Stewart and dermatologist Dhaval Bhanusali, MD, launched their own brand, Elm Biosciences, using their exceptional taste and decades of knowledge in skin care. It took five years to produce this faintly tinted, antioxidant-rich serum, which has a long list of benefits, including plumper, brighter, smoother, and less wrinkled skin. A shopper in their late 60s stated, “My skin has not felt this soft since I was a teenager.” Another consumer reported a “firmer, softer, and [more] radiant” complexion.

Clé de Peau Beauté boasts two of the most coveted celebrity fans: Stewart and Nicole Kidman. Retinol, ginger, and citrus form a surprisingly effective trinity that results in more elastic, wrinkle-free, plump skin with less puffiness and dark circles. It “tightens skin around the eye the second you apply it,” according to a 76-year-old customer. It has also been commended for its ability to eliminate eye bags: “The difference is noticeable.” “My eyes look so much brighter,” another shopper exclaimed.
