Donald Trump admits ignoring doctors

In light of mounting health concerns, President Donald Trump has now acknowledged wearing compression socks and cosmetics. The president talked about why he wears cosmetics and how he used to dislike wearing compression socks in an exclusive interview with the Wall Street Journal.

The president and the Trump administration have previously denied allegations that they are concealing his health problems. Trump discussed his health openly for the first time, particularly in light of the criticism he received for trying to hide it. The Daily Beast claims that Trump was previously charged with trying to conceal his cankles.

In a similar vein, he was seen wearing thick makeup to hide injuries on his hands. His left hand, which was typically his right, was recently seen to have another unexplained bruising. This led to increased scrutiny and online conspiracy theories over his health.

Trump’s recent interview with the journal puts an end to rumors after he made the revelation himself. The MAGA leader stated that when he started to get “mild swelling” in his lower legs in July 2025, his health started to become a concern.

He received a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency shortly thereafter. This is consistent with a memo from Capt. Sean P. Barbabella dated 2025, which White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt referenced.

Trump admitted in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that he tried wearing compression socks but “didn’t like them.” His physicians had recommended walking on the treadmill in order to minimize swelling. Trump disclosed that he has opted to just walk about rather than donning socks or running on a treadmill. The president said that he wasn’t the type to run or stroll for “hours” on a treadmill.

He then discussed the much-discussed bruising, which numerous critics and medical professionals have tried to explain online. Trump said that the main cause of his bruises was the aspirin he took. He asserted, however, that he chose to take the bigger dosage rather than the smaller one that was advised.

“I take the larger one, but I’ve done it for (25) years, and what it does is it causes bruising,” Trump disclosed. He further reasoned that he preferred “nice, thin blood” to flow through his veins rather than thick blood.

The Head of State also alluded to the fact that his skin was rather sensitive, citing an event involving Pam Bondi as justification. The US Attorney General had apparently tried to high-five the President. However, her hand slipped out of Trump’s during this, and her ring ultimately resulted in a “slight cut,” as Trump stated.

Trump asserted that after being “whacked by somebody,” he made the decision to apply cosmetics. Because it takes relatively little time to apply, Trump said the makeup was “easy to put on.” “It takes about 10 seconds,” he remarked.

Many of Trump’s followers are concerned about his health because he is currently the oldest president. Trump continues to defend his health, saying that his “good genetics” are the reason he is in great form.
