Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s widowed wife, released an emotional message during Turning Point USA’s alternative Super Bowl halftime show, expressing her support for Kid Rock.
During Bad Bunny’s revolutionary halftime performance at Super Bowl LX, a gathering of less than 200 people in a secret location were treated to an alternative concert, The All-American Halftime Show, hosted by the right-wing student organization Turning Point USA. However, Donald Trump made a startling admission about what he was seeing.
Many people think Bad Bunny should not have been chosen to headline the NFL championship game because his songs are in his native Spanish and he is vocally opposed to Trump’s ICE policy. Turning Point USA hosted its own alternative program, which featured Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. It comes after Kid Rock created a massive White House replica in Nashville, which had one incredible feature.

Prior to the concert, TPUSA spokesperson Andrew Colvet stated that it was “an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom.”
Erika, who is now the chairwoman and CEO of Turning Point USA, lavished the artists with applause after the contentious event concluded.

The 37-year-old took to X and said, “The @TPUS All-American Halftime Show was fantastic. Charlie would have really adored it. Thank you to the millions who tuned in.
She went on to say, “I’m so proud of our entire team, staff, and artists who believed in the vision and mission @KidRock @brantleygilbert @leebrice @GabbyBarrett_.” It’s acceptable to love Jesus and your country. Ultimately, this is what it’s all about: filling Heaven….I love you Charlie darling, this is all for you.”
Kid Rock, 55, began his set with the rap classic “Bawitaba.” He then shared his own version of Cody Johnson’s smash song ‘Til You Can’t.
After Kid Rock’s act ended, he received harsh criticism online, both from viewers and fellow country singers. Chart-topping artist Zach Bryan escalated his public spat with the singer, mocking Kid Rock for his involvement in the MAGA-sponsored concert.
Zach took to Instagram to share a footage of someone viewing the Turning Point halftime show on their phone while Bad Bunny’s performance played in the background on television. The person raised their hand to try to stop themselves from seeing Bad Bunny.
The 29-year-old artist captioned the photo, “What Kid Rock actually thinks is happening across America.”
Country artist Kacey Musgraves also weighed in, taking to X during the Super Bowl and writing, “Well. That made me feel more patriotically American than anything Kid Rock has ever done.”
It comes after Kid Rock was discovered ‘purchasing his own music’ in an embarrassing incident.
